Greetings and thank you for visiting my website…

I’m just your average joe who was born with the gift of artistry. I can remember being just about six years old and realizing that I had the ability to draw and paint. I always saw things a bit differently, and I found my creative ability developing as I grew older. In my early adulthood I decided to try my hand as a traditional artist. Although art was always my passion I found the struggle difficult. Being a practical minded person I wondered, “How was I to make a comfortable life for myself as an artist”. As I contemplated this question, I made the decision to join the military and make a difference. I joined the Marines in 1993 and spent several years doing things out of this world……Things that have affected me and have shaped my life, my art work and my creative ability in exciting ways. I have many stories I could tell….The experiences I had during my years in the military are ones that I will hold onto forever, but I never gave up on my dream to be a professional artist, to make art my life.

After my military experience I ended up going back to school to be a computer geek in the IT field. I managed to do computer programming and network security for several years during my stint in that industry. Towards the end of that cycle I realized I was not happy and needed a change. So I decided to step into the digital world and make a name for myself and the rest is history.

I began working in the post production right after I finished 3d animation school back in 2000. My roots in the 3d industry started in the midwest while working at Digital Pictures as a training/artist. I worked as a freelance artist in my spare time in the broadcast, post, architectural, markets on projects for clients such as Best Buy, Target, Pixel Farm, and Fox. After many experiences I was discovered by Discreet which brought me to NY as the 3ds Max Application Specialist for the East Coast. I had a great ride with the max team before the Alias & Autodesk deal. Now I’m currently a freelance artist living in NY and doing what I love. I consider myself to be a “tech-head” and I have the contagious enthusiasm when it comes to learning how to squeeze the maximum productivity from the latest technology.

I always say “If you don’t know, you better ask somebody”!
