3ds Max 9 Review Feature – Studio daily Collaboration

A review of 3ds Max 9 was featured on Studio Daily, an online community resource dedicated to technology, production workflows, and creative industry insights. The article, written by Mike de la Flor, explored the new capabilities and improvements introduced in this version of Autodesk’s flagship 3D software.

As part of the feature, I was contacted to contribute visual material that would help illustrate some of the new enhancements in 3ds Max 9. In particular, I provided selected high-quality renders showcasing the software’s upgraded capabilities, including advancements in the mental ray shader system.

One of my images was specifically used to highlight the improvements in mental ray shading, demonstrating how the upgraded tools enabled more realistic lighting, materials, and rendering outcomes. This visual contribution helped support the article’s discussion on how 3ds Max 9 expanded creative possibilities for artists working in production environments.

Being featured in a publication like StudioDaily was a valuable opportunity to contribute to the broader CG community. It also reflected the growing importance of artist-driven content in showcasing the real-world impact of software developments.

Overall, this collaboration reinforced the connection between software innovation and practical production work, where artists play a key role in demonstrating the potential of new tools through real creative application.
